The stretch form halyards and sheets are one indicator for sailors which should show the quality of the rope. There are two different indicatoris for the stretch, the construction and the fiber stretch. We would like to show it on 4 different products out of the FSE Robline product range. This drawing shows a mast with the mailsail. The stretch is showed by the position of the heardboard. We use a diamter 10 mm. The stretch is measured with a load of 1000 daN. Before we stretch the rope, three times with 30% of the breaking load, to get practical results. It is measured in free length.
