| Forespars Composites Division has
years of experience in the production of high performance poles
for racing and cruising boats. Weight reductions over similar
aluminum poles are typically 50% or better. Poles from 2.5 to
4.5 diameters are straight tubes unless custom 4.5 to 3.5
taper is requested. All 5 diameter and larger tubes have double
tapered ends. Forespar poles are produced from pressure cured
intermediate modulus carbon fiber, and high performance epoxy
resin systems. |

100 through FCT 300
series poles lend
themselves to center
point pic and
end-for-end jibing.
FCT J24 poles are
stiff enough for
center point pic and
are competition
center-weighted to
the gram. FCT 100
and FCT 125 poles
require RWO 4221 and
4231 end fittings,
respectively. All
other spinnaker
poles are available
with Forespar,
Proctor or Ronstan
end fittings. Forte
spinnaker poles are
available directly
from Forte or from
our recommended
rigging shops.
FCT 350 and FCT
400 custom spinnaker
poles have a single
taper and are
designed for boats
40' to 65' in length
and with J
dimensions from 16'
to 25'. These poles
are available with
Forespar, Hall or
