Our Canvas Shop has built a reputation for quality in the design and manufacturing of sail covers, dodgers, biminis, hatch covers, awnings and other custom canvas products. The Canvas Shop was established in 1976, ten years after the creation of Johnson Sails (JSI), in response to customer requests for sail covers.

With over 75 years of combined experience, each of the craftsman in the Canvas shop put their talents and skills to work every day building custom covers for sails, decks, hatches and dinghies, along with dodgers, biminis and other custom enclosures. Our extensive database of production and custom boat patterns makes it easy for their wholesale, OEM and retail customers to get the covers they nee quickly and easily. However, if we don't have a pattern for your boat, we will  work from your measurements or work with you to get the measurements right.

The Canvas Shop biminis and covers and are made from the finest materials available: Sunbrella acrylic canvas, 1" stainless steel tubing and non-corroding stainless steel fittings. We also offer aluminum bimini frames for more cost-conscious applications. Our reputation for quality is sewn into every stitch.
